DRNA Hosts Joint Symposium with Kerr Corporation and Waste Management Health Care Solutions
Dental Recycling North America, Inc - DRNA- (A privately held company) along with Kerr Corporation as well as WM Healthcare Solutions, Inc. a subsidiary of Waste Management (NYSE: WM) is holding a symposium entitled, “Reducing Mercury Discharges from Dental Offices and the Proper Waste Management of other Hazardous Materials Generated in the Dental Office” on Wednesday, October 20th, 2010 in Washington DC.
The goal of this program is to serve as a major exchange of ideas regarding the future of dental care waste management.
One of the highlights of the event will be a discussion of the joint DRNA/Kerr recycling program, which is one of the most innovative corporate programs currently taking place to reduce amalgam wastes from entering the environment. This program along with an explanation of its recycling results will be discussed at this conference.
Dr. Alfred Frost, DDS, DRNA’s Vice President of Scientific and Clinical Affairs, will be moderating the symposium. (bio enclosed)

3. Former Minnesota Attorney General, Hubert H. Humphrey, and Steve Markowitz, Chairman of Multistate Associates, will discuss “Understanding the State Regulatory Process”.
4. Tom Stevens, Technical Manager, NSF, will discuss Proven Verified Technology To Reduce Mercury From Dental Offices - “The US EPA’s Environmental Testing Verification Program-for Amalgam Separators” – NSF is an independent, not-for-profit organization, certifies- products and writes standards for food, water and consumer goods to minimize adverse health effects and protect the environment.
