The Academy of General Dentistry Announces a Monster of a Speaker
Internet entrepreneur Jeff Taylor named keynote speaker of AGD 2010 Annual Meeting & Exhibits

CHICAGO (April 16, 2010) – The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) has named Internet entrepreneur Jeff Taylor as the keynote speaker of the AGD 2010 Annual Meeting & Exhibits, which will be held in New Orleans from July 8 to 11. Taylor, founder of the globally recognized employment Web site Monster.com, will speak on Friday, July 9 from 11 a.m. to noon.

“We are thrilled to host Mr. Taylor as this year’s keynote speaker,” says AGD President David F. Halpern, DMD, FAGD. “His enthusiasm and talent have made him a great leader and businessman who can motivate those around him to achieve both professional and personal goals.”

Taylor’s address to meeting attendees will include topics such as social networking, the power of the consumer, and becoming the CEO of your own life. He will also speak about how attendees can balance the practice of dentistry and run a successful business at the same time.

As the founder of Monster.com, Taylor forever changed the way in which the world networks and builds careers. His “monster idea” has grown into the world’s leading online career Web site and serves nearly 30 million visitors monthly. “Mr. Taylor’s keynote speech is just one of the many valuable takeaways that attendees will enjoy at this year’s meeting,” says Dr. Halpern. “The annual meeting always offers attendees multiple chances to learn, and Iearning how to improve their practices is invaluable.”
