Cygnus Reality Awards

CygnaScope Micro and Micro Plus Intraoral cameras receive 5 stars from Reality Publishing; only intraoral camera to rate highest award in 2003
Posted: March 31, 2003
Cygnus Technologies, a Progeny Dental company, took away top honors for its intraoral cameras at the Reality Publishing awards held during the Chicago Midwinter Dental meeting.

The CygnaScope Micro and Micro Plus Intraoral cameras passed all performance tests at the top of their category for performance in an operatory environment.

“It’s exciting to see the Micro Plus recognized for its design and functionality”, said Chris Weed, Cygnus Director of Marketing. Weed accepted the award on behalf of Cygnus Technologies stating, “This validates our belief that the intelligent design of the Micro and Micro Plus cameras demonstrates both efficiency and long term value for dental professionals.

The Micro and Micro Plus intraoral cameras feature image capture and focus buttons located directly on the camera hand piece, variable focus, high resolution imaging and an economical multi-operatory module no larger than a deck of cards.

President of Cygnus Technologies, Egidio Cianciosi, echoed Weed’s enthusiasm. “This is the latest in a long line of industry recognition for Cygnus products,” he said. “We are very proud to have the only intraoral camera chosen as the leader in its category by all three independent research organizations over the course of the past five years.”
