Nobel Biocare appoints Melker Nilsson as Senior Vice President Business Development and John Cox as Senior Vice President of Sales for North America
Nobel Biocare announced today that Melker Nilsson has been appointed Senior Vice President of Business Development for North America. Melker takes over the responsibility for Marketing, Training and Education, Customer Support and Clinical Support. He will also assume responsibility for coordinating the activities of several other central functions.
Melker’s career in dental care spans almost 18 years. Most recently, Melker was President of Neoss USA for three years. Prior to joining Neoss, Melker achieved many successes in various North American and international senior general management, sales and marketing positions at Nobel Biocare. Before he initially joined Nobel Biocare, Melker gained experience in the banking and financial services industry, and earned a Master of Law Degree from Lund University in Sweden.
John Cox, previous Vice President of Sales North America, has been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President of Sales North America, effective immediately. John will continue to also hold the position of General Manager of Nobel Biocare Canada.
