Henry Schein Introduces New Line Of Private-Label Hand Care Products For Dental And Medical Practitioners

Henry Schein, Inc. Manufactured for and distributed exclusively by Henry Schein and its subsidiaries, the line includes antibacterial hand soap, alcohol hand sanitizer and moisturizing hand lotion.

“This new line of Henry Schein hand care products features a patented wall-mounted or counter-mounted base and bottle system, making it as simple as possible for the dentist or physician and their staffs to replace empty bottles,” says Jeff Sherman, product category manager for Henry Schein. “They simply discard the empty bottles and screw in a new bottle of product, precluding the need to refill empty bottles and reducing the chances for cross contamination.”

The antibacterial soap features 0.2 percent Triclosan as the active ingredient, aloe to prevent dryness, and a fresh scent. The alcohol hand sanitizer includes a 62 percent ethyl alcohol as the active ingredient, and has a fresh citrus scent. New Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines suggest the use of alcohol-based sanitizers as an adjunct to current hand washing protocols or for when soap and water is not readily available. The moisturizing hand lotion is specially formulated to protect against the effects of repeated glove wearing or hand washing. It also features aloe and a fresh scent.
