KOMET USA Introduces New Milling Base for Laboratory Implants

Rock Hill, S.C. - September 30, 2009 - KOMET USA has introduced a new stainless-steel milling base designed to be used in different types of laboratory implant adjustments.

KOMET's milling base is designed and suitable for:

·      Cylindrical and slightly conical implants, replicas and tapered retention posts

·      Implants

·      Replicas of all system with diameters ranging from 1 to 6.5 mm

·      Metal retention pins for work on tapered crowns

The upper part of the milling base can be removed and replaced in its original position with a screw on/off locking bolt because of its internal height adjuster.  This allows the user to alternate between manual labor and using the milling device.  The clamping nut is ergonomically shaped, allowing strain-free manual adjustments and avoiding any injuries caused by hot instruments.  The milling base can also be placed on any magnetic or model table and it also comes complete with clamping jaws.
