This patented low friction, variable force bracket system offers orthodontists the ability to control the friction between the archwire, bracket and elastic ligature. The orthodontist, by varying the ligature placement, more fully controls his/her method of sliding mechanics to more easily increase or decrease force to facilitate the prescribed treatment. Made of the purest polycrystalline so brackets are fully translucent for the aesthetic look, these brackets are strong and resist breaking. Mechanical dovetail grooves and a chemically coated base ensure a good bond. Brackets feature compound contour and torque-in-base design for a precise fit, precise tip, torque and in/out movements. Optional contoured auxiliary hooks are available to enhance patient comfort.
