Rapid Scan™ Feature Available with E4D Dentist System’s Spring 2009 Update
Dallas, TX – (March 12, 2009) – Maximizing the efficiency of chairside CAD CAM dentistry,
D4D Technologies announces the introduction of Rapid Scan into its newest software version
(DentaLogic). Rapid Scan allows the E4D Clinical Operator to capture digital images at a
rapid and automatic pace based on the operator’s preferred speed of capture. Rapid Scan
can be used in the mouth for intraoral scans, or used to scan extraorally with conventional
impressions or models, all without powder application.
“The introduction of the Rapid Scan has improved my clinical efficiency, minimized the time it
takes to capture scans in the mouth and allowed me to move through the scan, design and
milling stages faster than ever to provide my patients with improved convenience,” said Dr.
Jeffrey Barrera of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. Rapid Scan and powderless chairside
scanning are exclusive to the E4D Dentist System and reflect D4D Technologies’
commitment to keeping the system and its E4D Clinical Operators on the leading edge of
digital dentistry.
