Aspen Dental Plans Continued Expansion throughout 2009

www.aspendent.com) -- Aspen Dental Management, Inc. (ADMI) opened 47 de novo dental offices in 2008, bringing to 180 the total number of offices in the company’s network of Aspen Dental locations. Aspen Dental offices are located in 13 states throughout the Northeast, Midwest and Southwest, from Maine to Arizona. New states added to the Aspen Dental network in 2008 were Wisconsin and Iowa.
ADMI President and CEO Robert Fontana said the company, which has now opened 83 de novo offices in the last 24 months, plans to open more than 40 additional offices in 2009, including locations in Illinois, Florida, Oregon, Washington and Vermont, as part of the company’s aggressive expansion efforts.
“Our continued success in opening new offices has given us a surge of momentum heading into 2009, providing great opportunities for current and prospective employees and Aspen Dental patients,” Fontana said.
Fontana added ADMI will embark on a powerful and evocative new advertising campaign to boost awareness of the Aspen Dental retail brand, launch a comprehensive dentist recruitment initiative, expand its breadth of training programs for affiliated dentists and professional staff, and introduce new interactive offerings to make it easier for patients and prospective employees to transact business with Aspen Dental.
Aspen Dental offices saw more than 260,000 new patients in 2008 compared to 175,000 in 2007, another record-setting mark.
