New Dates and Theme Announced for 2009 NDEDIC Conference

Phoenix, Arizona – The National Dental EDI Council has announced new dates for its 2009 Conference scheduled for May at the Wigwam Golf Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Arizona.  According to Ross Gosnell, Chairman of the NDEDIC Board and Senior Vice President of Information Systems and Technology, Delta Dental of Illinois, “We want to hold our Conference closer to the dates of the American Association of Dental Consultants Conference, with whom we will hold side-by-side meetings in 2010 and eliminate a conflict in dates with another organization (our original dates were the same as the California Dental Association meeting).  To meet both of those goals, we have changed the dates to May 5 through 7, 2009.”

The theme for the 2009 Conference “The Changing Landscape of e-Commerce” reflects the new and changing technology that is being implemented or considered for implementation within the industry.

Joseph Gonzales, Chairman of the 2009 NDEDIC Conference and Vice President, Business Development, Secure EDI, announced that the program development for the 2009 Conference is progressing with the following topics scheduled for the Conference:  Real-Time; HIPAA Police; Consumer Driven Health: New Metrics: Product Substantiation - Dental Application;  e-Healthcare Initiatives; Financial Transactions in Healthcare; Case Study: Electronic Health Record and Personal Health Record; ROI: Transaction Quality – LIMRA Reports Measureable Metrics; Diagnosis Codes: SNODENT Update;  Case Study:  Real-time Remittance Advice;  The New HIPAA Transactions: What is the current state of the HIPAA Environment?; and an ADA Update.  Also, our Exhibitor Marketplace has been expanded for 2009.

Additionally, Joe announced, “we are very pleased to have our online registration available for the 2009 Conference as well as our Exhibit registration.  Those interested in sponsorships may also secure their sponsorship online.”
