A new agreement between Dentrix Dental Systems, Inc. and Delta Dental Plan of New Jersey, Inc. today announced an agreement that will permitwill allow dental offices to send attachments with electronic claims sent within the DENTRIX practice management system.

Effective immediately, dental offices may include digital or scanned electronic attachments, such as x-rays, perio charts, cosmetic presentations, or other images, with their claims. , This will further expediting expedite the electronic claims process by eliminating payment delays and providing payors with immediate claims information. It will also enable . The option to send attachments will give those dental offices to use utilizing high tech-tools to takefor digital x-rays and, photos, or to create cosmetic presentations. The option to send attachments with claims eliminates delays in payment by providing all pertinent information to the payor at the initial submission of the claim.
