Combine properly angled tip design with carbide gripping strength

While the increased use of sectional matrix systems has greatly improved interproximal contacts, the placement and removal of these matrices has become more difficult due to their small size and the tightness of the contact achieved.  Composi-Tight® Matrix Forceps from Garrison Dental Solutions solves this problem by combining a properly angled tip design for easy band placement with tungsten carbide tips for extra gripping strength to aid in band removal.

Instruments exist to facilitate matrix placement while others are designed for matrix removal.  Composi-Tight® Matrix Forceps are the first to excel in both functions.  The tips have a 75-degree angle with an occlusal-gingival orientation, providing a more appropriate placement angle than cotton forceps.  Serrated tungsten carbide tips offer better gripping strength than hemostats for removing matrices from tight contacts or bonded matrices.

The forceps are also available in a straight tip design.

Garrison Dental Solutions manufactures Composi-Tight® Sectional Matrix Systems, Wedge Wands®, G-Force® diamonds and a selection of other specialty dental products.  For more information call 888-437-0032 or visit http://www.garrisondental.com.
