PLAQUE REMOVER

Invented in Australia to Improve Dental Hygiene
Posted: September 26, 2003
Invention Submission Corporation announces that two of its clients, inventors from Melbourne, Australia, have designed a tool that would help to ensure users maintain clean teeth. A prototype exists.

The PLAQUE REMOVER would remove plaque and tartar from the rear surfaces of teeth, which can be out of the reach of toothbrushes and other oral care tools. Use of the device would help prevent the formation of cavities and may reduce the incidence of gingivitis, as well. The PLAQUE REMOVER's lightweight and compact design would make it easy to carry in a purse or pocket for use away from home.

The inventors came up with the idea and design through personal experience. "We wanted cleaner teeth, but other tools weren't doing the job," one of them said. "This gave us good results. It reduces dental visits and it's soft on the teeth."

The original design was submitted to the Australia office of INVENTION SUBMISSION CORPORATION. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
