PracticeWorks Incorporates Nobel Biocare Implant Systems into its KODAK OMS Imaging Software
New agreement between PracticeWorks and Nobel Biocare to help perfect case presentation and patient education within the software implant module

ATLANTA, Oct.11 – Nobel Biocare and PracticeWorks, Inc., the exclusive maker of KODAK Dental Systems, have entered into an agreement whereby PracticeWorks will incorporate Nobel Biocare implant systems into its KODAK OMS Imaging Software implant module. The agreement ensures that Nobel Biocare customers can fully leverage the many benefits offered by KODAK OMS Imaging Software including perfect case presentation and patient education.
Nobel Biocare is the U.S. market leader in implant technology.

"We are pleased to begin collaborating with Nobel Biocare, the top implant supplier in the OMS industry," said Robert Patrick, Product Line Manager for the OMS business at PracticeWorks. "Incorporating Nobel Biocare implant technology into our software allows us to continue offering our customers high-tech innovations in the OMS field."
"Increasing patient awareness and developing tools to help clinicians drive higher levels of case acceptance are cornerstones of Nobel Biocare’s approach," commented Kevin Mosher, Vice President and General Manager, Nobel Biocare North America. "The KODAK OMS Imaging Software is a tremendous tool for accomplishing these objectives, and we’re glad to have our implants be a part of the system."
KODAK OMS Imaging Software allows for the quick compilation of an array of patient photographs and information from chairside with the touch of a button. This intuitive tool allows dental professionals to capture, store, and manage digital image records with minimal training. The Implant Module allows oral surgeons to simulate the placement of implants on a patient’s panoramic x-ray image for case presentation and patient education. With the help of the Implant Module, patients can visualize what an implant will look like in their mouths, which helps the doctor more easily explain the surgery to the patient.
