AFP IMAGING CORPORATION NAMES GENEXA MEDICAL AS EXCLUSIVE CANADIAN DISTRIBUTOR FOR NEWTOM™ 3-D DENTAL CBCT SCANNERS AND EVA AND EVA+ DENTAL DIGITAL SENSORS

(Elmsford, NY) – AFP Imaging Corporation (OTCBB: AFPC.OB), announced today that Genexa Medical Inc. has become the exclusive Canadian distributor for AFP Imaging’s NewTom™ 3-D Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) Dental Scanners and EVATM and EVA+ intraoral dental digital sensors product lines, effective September 1, 2007.  Previously, Genexa Medical had served as one of several Canadian distributors of EVA and EVA+ products.

“Genexa Medical is an experienced sales and marketing organization serving the Canadian dental market. It is a unique professional distribution organization offering full financial services to its equipment customers as well as innovative ownership programs. We have enjoyed an existing relationship with them as a distributor of our EVA line, and we are happy to expand our partnership to include the NewTom 3-D scanners. They will now market both lines to dental practices, imaging centers and hospitals throughout Canada,” says Donald Rabinovitch, President of AFP Imaging. “We look forward to a long and very prosperous association with them.”

Gary Lee, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Genexa Medical, notes, "Genexa Medical is extremely pleased to be representing select AFP Imaging products in the Canadian market.  AFP's state-of-the-art NewTom 3G and VG 3-D scanners provide dental professionals and surgeons with detailed three-dimensional diagnostic images using 85% less radiation than traditional CT scanners and eliminate visits to offsite CT scanners and wait times."

The NewTom 3-D scanners are dedicated volumetric X-ray imaging devices that acquire a 360-degree rotational X-ray sequence of images for use as diagnostic support in radiology of the dento-maxillo-facial complex and in the field of maxillofacial surgery. The system reconstructs a three-dimensional matrix of the examined volume, producing two-dimensional views of this volume and displaying both two-dimensional images and three-dimensional renderings.  NewTom’s patented 3-D technology is available in both the NewTom 3G horizontal unit and the brand new vertical model, the NewTom VG, which is being introduced at the American Dental Association Annual Session in San Francisco Sept. 27-30.  AFP Imaging is the only CBCT scanner supplier to currently provide both vertical and horizontal generation configurations. Unlike all other competitive products, NewTom features up to a true 12-inch field of view (F.O.V.) in one scan without additional reconstruction, and offers a choice of both digital flat panel and image intensifier capture technologies.

EVA is a film-less, digital dental imaging radiology system that produces highest resolution, diagnostic quality intraoral images. Utilizing patented "Active Column" CMOS technology, EVA produces high-efficiency, low-noise images which are digitized and transmitted to your computer via a standard USB (Universal Serial Bus) port and is compatible with laptop or desktop systems. EVA+ is the first and only sensor to offer rounded top corners in all three planes, making it the most comfortable, ergonomically correct sensor on the market. Furthermore, EVA+ has added this comfort aspect without sacrificing image size or cutting corners like other systems. EVA+ has a full rectangular imaging area designed by limiting distance between the edge of the active imaging area and the physical contour of the capsule.

As a result of AFP Imaging’s new relationship with Genexa Medical, the company expects in the next 12 months to realize Canadian sales of NewTom 3-D scanners and EVA and EVA+ dental sensors of approximately US$4 million and continued growth in future years, according to Daniel Fields, Executive Vice President of AFP Imaging. Fields also estimates that Genexa will complete approximately 10-plus NewTom installations in Canada within the next 90 days.
