S-Cutters—Tried and Trusted Products for Technicians

Rock Hill, SC – Date – KOMET USA continues to offer Tungsten Carbide S-Cutters — precision tools with excellent cutting power for lab technicians.

You will recognize S-Cutters by the brand name KOMET and an “E” (for Ergonomic toothing) lasered on the shank.  These cutters, with staggered toothing, are ideally suited to be used on metal alloys, acrylics and plaster.  They come in all common shapes and sizes, and are universally suited for a variety of materials to work on due to their high number of offset blades, which produce short, grainy metal chips preventing skin penetration and allowing a longer life span.

Fine S-Cutters – marked by the KOMET brand name and “EF” (for Ergonomic Fine toothing) on the shank – come with staggered toothing best suited for finishing work on metal alloys, acrylics and plaster.  These instruments feature a high number of offset blades for precise finishing.  They provide smoother cutting without applying much pressure and produce short, granular chips.  Fine S-Cutters also reduce the time needed for creating smooth surfaces or polishing.
