Interchangeable Equipment Provides Endless Operatory Choices
 
Malvern, PA (September 5, 2007) – DentalEZ® Group, a supplier of innovative products for dental health professionals worldwide, will be unveiling its Simplicity™ by DentalEZ®, a new complete and versatile line of dental equipment that is interchangeable with the existing lines of DentalEZ operatory equipment, at the 2007 American Dental Association’s (ADA) meeting in San Francisco on September 27-30 at booth #1102. 
 
The components present endless possibilities for a customized operatory.  The dental professional can pick and choose from several main components of Simplicity by DentalEZ to fit their individual office design needs:
 
Simplicity™ by DentalEZ® Chair – Features a quiet and smooth hydraulic system for superior stability and smooth, quiet operation. The durable and attractive Naugahyde upholstery makes the Simplicity by DentalEZ Chair extremely soft and comfortable.  Other features include the following:
 
  • Four operator-programmable positions that increase efficiency by reducing the time needed for chair adjustment. 
  • Swing down arms provide easy patient entry/exit, and allow the dental professional to easily maneuver from left to right without any tools. 
  • Thin tapered back of the chair is ergonomically designed to provide better access to the oral cavity. 
  • Conveniently positioned chair brake is on the doctor’s side for ease of use.  An optional foot control (8” X 6”) is also available for easy and rapid patient positioning, as well as optional chair-mounted touch pad controls which provide easy and rapid patient positioning. 
  • A dual articulating (dual durometer) or magnetic headrest (catcher’s mitt) is also available for the Simplicity by DentalEZ Chair.

According to DentalEZ senior product manager Aggie Pennington, “The Simplicity by DentalEZ Chair balances durability with ergonomics. Its cast iron frame and aluminum casting chair back, armrest, headrest, and base will provide years of dependable use.  It has a 60 degree rotation capability, and the ergonomically designed base plate provides the dental team with free movement from 9:00 to 12:00 positions for enhanced patient and clinician comfort.”
 
Simplicity™ by DentalEZ® Light – The three axis adjustment design allows for the widest range of positioning over the oral cavity.  The shadow-free illumination area effectively lights the entire oral cavity and provides the following benefits:
 
  • High and low intensity modes of operation for optimum illumination. 

 
  • Shadow-free illumination and light pattern integrity provide a consistent light pattern, even when obstructed by a dental assistant. 

 
“We’ve applied sound ergonomic design to operatory lighting as well,” explained Pennington, “The Simplicity by DentalEZ™ Light features attractive durable aluminum casting and ergonomically designed t-handles for superior ease of movement.” 
 
Simplicity™ by DentalEZ® Chair Mounted Unit – Representing the ultimate in design versatility and flexibility, The Simplicity by DentalEZ Chair Mounted Unit enhances comfort for both the patient and the dental team to improve overall operatory productivity.  Offering the dental team infinite feature and benefits, the Chair Mounted Unit provides the dental team extreme flexibility and versatility to position instruments and materials wherever needed.  
 
  • The Doctor’s control head houses up to four handpieces and glides smoothly into three positions, pivoting left and right to accommodate the most ergonomically sound access to instrumentation. An optional fourth handpiece position is also available. 

 
  • The integrated automatic pinch valve system of the unit provides a trouble-free, long-lasting air supply. 

 
  • Equipped with an autoclavable three-way syringe fluid dispensing apparatus as well as a high volume evacuator (HVE) and saliva ejector.

 
  •  Standard stainless-steel tray and pad with a swivel tray available as an option. 

 
  • Each unit features a master on-off switch


In addition, the Simplicity by DentalEZ Chair Mounted Unit assistant’s instrumentation arm has four hangars and an easy-to-clean solids collector, making clean-up quick and easy.  The arm is height-adjustable and telescoping for a wide range of instrument placement.  An optional cuspidor is also available with a 45 degree left/right rotation feature.
 
The utility center of the unit contains effective regulators and filters that eliminate oil vapors, water condensation, and particulate contamination, providing continuous clean, dry air.  The self-contained water system of the unit supplies a continuous line of fresh clean city water.
