Posted: June 6, 2007

Ultreo, Inc. and Seattle Study Club are pleased to announce a 3 year strategic partnership in which the new ultrasound toothbrush, Ultreo™, will be the exclusive power toothbrush of the Seattle Study Club, displacing Sonicare®, after its 11 year-run in this highly coveted position.

As the newest innovators in the power toothbrush category, Ultreo, Inc. is a natural partner for the Seattle Study Club, who are dedicated to furthering clinicians’ comprehensive diagnosis and treatment planning skills, and whose members pride themselves as being on the cutting edge of dentistry and early adopters of the most advanced, scientifically-based technology.

With its unique background, Ultreo, Inc. is ideally suited to collaborate with the Seattle Study Club. "Many people in our organization have worked with the Seattle Study Club in the past and this new agreement is evidence of the strength of the personal relationships that exist. It is also evidence of the huge potential for Ultreo to make advancements in a category that has not seen major technological innovation for 15 years" said Jack Gallagher President and CEO of Ultreo, who is the former president of Optiva Corporation, (developers of the Sonicare® toothbrush).

Dr. Michael Cohen, founder of Seattle Study Club, shared his thoughts regarding the newly established relationship; "The people involved with Ultreo have shown commitment in the past to the growth and education of the clinicians in our network. The next 3 years will show that their dedication to providing quality and comprehensive solutions hasn’t changed".

As part of the 3 year partnership agreement, Ultreo, Inc. will sponsor Problem Solving Sessions for dental hygienists and other dental hygiene related programs. Sales Representatives for Ultreo will also be working at the grass-roots level over the next 3 years to forge strong, educationally-based relationships with the more than 5000 dental offices that belong to the Seattle Study Club network.
In an era of rapid advancement and change, Ultreo, Inc. is delighted and honored to partner with a trusted friend, Seattle Study Club, to continue their shared goal of advancing the art and science of oral health and dentistry.
