h254e_314_012_4c (WinCE).jpgKOMET USA, a recognized worldwide leader in the production of precision rotary instruments for the dental industry, introduced its new Bone Cutter H254E combination instrument, uniquely designed for tissue-friendly preparation of bone tissue and hard tooth substance.  With this announcement KOMET USA continues its focused effort to deliver rotary instruments designed for optimal patient care and comfort, and ease of use for the practitioner.

Practitioners can use the H254E to prepare bone or bone lids, which can be repositioned after the removal of impacted wisdom teeth or after apical ectomy.  In addition, due to its efficient cutting ability, the instrument is also ideally suited for cutting hard tooth material, particularly for separating roots. This bone cutter is also available in a longer version as H254LE.

KOMET USA recommends specific usage guidelines for the H254E cutter, including running at an optimal speed of 80,000 rpm up to a maximum of 100,000 rpm, using a sufficient external coolant at a minimum of 50 ml/minute, and applying a minimal contact pressure of less than 2N.
