New Cordless Headlights Offer Dentists Optimal Visualization, Comfort and Freedom to Move During Patient Care

For dentists and oral surgeons who want both the freedom of unrestricted movement and the brightest possible illumination, but want to avoid heavy equipment and high maintenance costs, Enova Medical Technologies has a solution.  The company is pleased to announce today its new Halo Ultra-Lite™ Cordless LED Surgical Headlight.

The Halo Ultra-Lite, Enova's latest headlight evolution, delivers the brightest illumination available on the market today.  Weighing less than nine ounces (9 oz.), it is 45 percent less weight than the original Halo model.  In addition to light-weight comfort, the battery mounts and crown knob straps from the original model have been removed from this headset to give the Halo Ultra-Lite a more streamlined look and feel. To power the device, users can choose either an AC/DC power adaptor or one of Enova's belt clip options.

On the issue of affordability, Enova significantly reduced the price of the Halo Ultra-Lite since the Halo’s original market introduction.  In fact, due to product manufacturing evolution and market acceptance, the product’s price has been reduced nearly 50 percent.  Illuminated by innovative LED technology and powered by rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, the patented Halo Ultra-Lite delivers maintenance free, bright, white, cool light.

“We’re proud to be the leader in illumination for the dental industry,” said Fariborz Boor Boor, CEO of Enova.  “It’s exciting to offer dentists and oral surgeons an affordable cordless headlight system that not only has exceptional light quality, but also allows them freedom of movement to best care for their patients.”Enova Medical Technologies, a privately-held company, is engaged in the development and commercialization of proprietary medical devices and is an experienced provider of product development, manufacturing, and commercialization services for the medical device industry.  From Class I to Class III devices, Enova understands the technical challenges of product design, engineering, research and development, the regulatory steps required to successfully commercialize products, and the marketing and sales efforts needed to move inventory off the shelf.  For more information, visit www.enovamedical.com.
