KOMET USA Introduces Glass Fiber Root Posts for Aesthetic Restorations
Posted: March 16, 2007
DentinPost (WinCE).jpgKOMET USA, a recognized worldwide leader in the production of precision rotary instruments for the dental industry, introduces its DentinPost and DentinPost X glass fiber root posts, designed for the indications of composite restoration of teeth with partly destroyed crowns and the reconstruction of severely destroyed teeth.  KOMET’s DentinPost root posts are designed to achieve the most aesthetically pleasing restorations possible.

KOMET’s DentinPost root posts are prefabricated, tapered root posts largely composed of unidirectional special glass fibers to ensure high stability.  These posts feature a modulus of elasticity similar to that of dentin, to guarantee an aesthetically pleasing result, and offer radiopacity.

All partially destroyed teeth that are reinforced or built up with DentinPosts can serve as prosthetic abutments.  Practitioners can achieve an aesthetically pleasing restoration with all-ceramic partial crowns, crowns and veneers, without any undesired alterations in color.  The simple application of the DentinPost is carried out using tested and proven instruments of the ER root post system.
