Planmeca’s extensive panoramic X-ray product line is strengthened with the launch of new Planmeca ProOne, small-sized yet technologically advanced panoramic X-ray unit. With its superior image quality, ease of operation and wide range of exposure possibilities, Planmeca ProOne inherits Planmeca’s expert knowledge and long traditions in panoramic imaging.
Planmeca ProOne panoramic X-ray unit is an excellent choice for any dental practice the world over. The new unit is designed to be as easy to use as possible, yet incorporating the state-of-the-art technology. Wide selection of exposure programs and parameters ensures that radiographic examinations of all kinds are highly rapid and effortless to perform.
To provide undistorted and diagnostically valuable radiographs, the form of the focal layer follows the scientifically defined shape of human dental arch and jaw. In Planmeca ProOne, the operator may adjust the shape of the focal layer according to the jaw size and shape of the patient. The unit’s imaging geometry efficiently eliminates shadows and ghost images caused by objects outside the image layer.
Side entry patient access and open view contributes to accurate and practical patient positioning. The operator is able to monitor the patient freely from the front and side; hence no mirrors are needed. Patient positioning is further enhanced with a triple laser beam system that accurately indicates the correct anatomical landmarks, minimising errors caused by incorrect patient positioning. With Planmeca ProOne, the exposure can be performed with a standing or a seated patient, in a wheelchair as well.
Planmeca ProOne’s full colour TFT display has a graphical user interface (GUI) that guides the operator with text and clear graphical symbols. In addition to the standard panoramic imaging program, Planmeca ProOne provides three special panoramic programs for specific diagnostic needs: Improved Interproximal Angulation Panoramic, Improved Orthogonality Panoramic, and Bitewing Panoramic using the improved interproximal angulation geometry. Planmeca ProOne also allows selection of correct exposure format, minimising the radiation dose for all types of patients and diagnostic purposes.
Being fully digital, Planmeca ProOne provides a wide range of tools for image processing and storing. Radiographs are available for diagnosis immediately after exposure. With Planmeca ProOne, the benefits of digital imaging are within reach of every dentist.
