Henry Schein, Inc. (Nasdaq NM: HSIC), the largest provider of healthcare products and services to office-based practitioners in the combined North American and European markets, has appointed Anthony Providenti as Deputy General Counsel. In his new position, Providenti will be involved with all aspects of Henry Schein's legal affairs including mergers and acquisitions as well as general corporate and transactional work.
Prior to joining Henry Schein, Providenti was a Senior Corporate Associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, where he supervised significant and complex corporate transitional matters. Before that, he was Vice President - Legal, Associate General Counsel for Merit Behavioral Care Corporation, a Kohlberg, Kravis and Roberts portfolio company. He began his legal career as an Associate at Kelley, Drye & Warren LLP.
Providenti received his Juris Doctor in 1992 from Fordham University in New York City where he was an editor and staff member of the Fordham Law Rewiew and a B.S. Degree in 1999 in Accounting from the College of Business and Economics at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He currently resides in New York City.
