Don’t all kids laugh when they go to the dentist? They do at KidZaam Pediatric Dentistry! Kids, and even their parents, are treated to the magical DentaltainmentSM brand, filled with exciting sights, whimsical sounds and delightful smells when they walk through the doors of KidZaam.
Brought to life by Dr. Albert Higgins, the magical kingdom of KidZaam is bridging the gap between great dental care and having real fun at the dentist. I’d like to introduce you to Dr. Higgins, who some may consider is the “Walt Disney” of pediatric dentistry, and immerse you in the fun-filled world of KidZaam Dentaltainment. I believe his vision, as well as his unique business approach, will make a compelling story for your readers.
Dr. Higgins founded KidZaam on the belief that every child should have a positive and fun experience at the dentist. He’s taken an unconventional path to building the KidZaam Dental-tainment experience since founding the practice in 1993. He hired illustrators, former Imagineers and other creative talent to help him develop a whole new world filled with fun characters, zany buildings and creative story lines that match.
Then he turned that vision into reality by establishing an office in Phoenix, renovating a current practice in Prescott and building the landmark KidZaam headquarters in Prescott Valley, which is also the most photographed dental office in the country. In fact, people come from all over to get their picture taken in front of the zany KidZaam Klub House.
Dr. Higgins’ wacky humor, cartoon characters and fun-loving KidZologist staff help make their young patients comfortable with each dental visit. In fact, many KidZaam patients actually ask their parents to schedule their next trip as soon as possible. From the aroma of bubble gum being pumped into the Kidz Klub Gamez Center to the silly gear worn by each dental practitioner, it’s a quirky world that teaches, entertains and takes the apprehension out of minds of young patients, and their parents.
Dr. Higgins has big plans for his concept, which he intends to take nationwide in the next year, infecting all kids with laughter at the dentist. His well-thought out vision includes retail sales, affiliated practices, copyrighted madcap characters and even games. He even plans for Internet cafes to be part of the practice so busy parents that need a break can kick back while their kids receive treatment.
