Posted: September 21, 2006

Net32, Inc.(Net32), developer of the leading business to business electronic marketplace for the dental industry, today announced that the US Patent and Trademark Office has issued Patent #7107226 for Net32’s “Internet-Based Online Comparison Shopping System and Method of Interactive Purchase and Sale of Products.”

Net32 announced today that it had received a patent for its comparison shopping technology that embodies a number of ground breaking new methodologies including a unique method of fully integrating product offerings from multiple competing vendors into a single proprietary database. This enables search results that allow price comparison across all vendors instantly. An order can be comprised of products from many vendors and executed with a single mouse click, a feature unique to online B2B marketplaces.

Donna Cassidy, President of Net32, stated “We believe that our technology is fundamentally superior to currently prevailing comparison shopping business models, including those based on lead generation. Serious inefficiencies, complexities, and inaccuracies are inherent in harvesting vendor product and pricing information from remote websites, and with redirecting customers to other sites to complete orders. “We provide a compelling advantage by taking care of ALL vendor and customer needs in a single fully integrated online B2B comparison shopping marketplace.”

Cassidy said “Issuance of this comparison shopping patent secures our technology, further enhances our leadership position in the electronic procurement marketplace, opens up a myriad of licensing opportunities, and bolsters our plans to build out additional vertical marketplaces that use our advanced technology. Additionally, our patented technology will underpin further development of intelligent tools that are unmatched in online comparison shopping, bringing exceptional value to businesses seeking to maximize savings and profits purchasing within their industries worldwide.”
