National CEREC Month

February 2006 marks the inaugural National CEREC^® Month for Sirona Dental Systems and Patterson Dental Supply. CEREC, the world’s only chairside CAD/CAM restorative method, is currently celebrating the 20^th anniversary of the first patient treatment. National CEREC Month commemorates this milestone with a variety of exciting events held at Patterson branches nationwide. This provides an opportunity for dentists to meet with their colleagues and celebrate the technology that is revolutionizing dentistry. 

 

During the month of February, each Patterson branch will offer incentives for dentists to come in and visit product-focused “Pit Stops”. At the first Pit Stop, dentists will have the chance to test drive CEREC, a unique hands-on learning opportunity. After trying CEREC, dentists can sample other complementary technologies at subsequent stops. Each doctor who visits a Patterson branch will be issued a “Pit Pass” which will be marked at each product station. After visiting all of the “Pit Stops”, dentists turn in their “Pit Pass”, which is entered into a sweepstakes. Grand Prizes will be distributed to 20 randomly selected dentists who completed the full course of Pit Stops. Each winning dentist will receive a trip to Las Vegas for the CEREC 20^th Anniversary Experience from October 13 – 15, 2006. Trip includes tuition for the continuing education courses, special event entertainment, and hotel accommodations at Bally’s, the official home of the 20^th Anniversary Experience.
