Henry Schein Announces All U.S. ProRepair Division Facilities Now ISO Registered

Henry Schein, Inc. (Nasdaq: HSIC), the largest provider of healthcare products and services to office-based practitioners in the combined North American and European markets, announced today that all of its ProRepair(R) division's domestic, in-house repair facilities are now ISO registered. The announcement comes with ProRepair's latest ISO registration of its Livermore, Calif. facility.

Specifically, the ISO registration signifies that the Company has achieved ISO 9001: 2000 EN 46002 certifications. With operations across the United States and abroad, ProRepair provides repair services for dental hand pieces, and other small dental, medical and veterinary equipment, operative and surgical instruments, sterilizers and laboratory hand pieces.

ProRepair's Livermore facility houses the sterilizer and small dental equipment repair operations for the Western states. The Company's Gaithersburg, Md. facility, which repairs only tabletop sterilizers for the Eastern and Central states, became ISO registered within the past year.

Henry Schein's European-based ProRepair facilities, its distribution centers in the United Kingdom, Spain and Holland, as well as four of the Company's major North American distribution centers and its New York corporate headquarters, are also ISO registered.
