Contact Perfect™
is a revolutionary new posterior composite matrix system that produces predictable, naturally contoured contact every time. There is no need for aggressive wedging with this system; therefore, the risk of hyper-occlusion and patient sensitivity is reduced. This innovative product features a patent-pending design with removable inter-proximal “windows.” By removing the inter-proximal barrier, Contact Perfect matrix bands expose the composite resin and allow it to make direct contact with the adjacent tooth, forming tight contacts and natural contours. They are fast and easy to place using a traditional Tofflemire retainer. Contact Perfect offers the dental professional an easy and effective solution to the most frustrating issues with composite restorations: open contacts and patient sensitivity.
Contact Perfect matrix bands are available in three different styles: Universal 2-surface bands, Bicuspid 3-surface bands, and Molar 3-surface bands. They are offered in a package of 24 bands per pack and include a Directions-For-Use chairside card. An introductory pack of 12 bands is also available to help the dentist get started.
Contact Perfect matrix bands will be available beginning April 28th and will be officially introduced at the California Dental Association meeting in Anaheim.
