First Step gel adhesive

DVAs First Step, a Try-in Gel Adhesive
Posted: October 24, 2005

First Step is a colorless, odorless, non-toxic gel adhesive designed to secure restorations during try-in procedures. The water-soluble, gel adhesive is easily removed form all surfaces initially and after the try-in procedure is completed. Laminates, crowns, and other restorations as well as denture wax-ups are held in situ while the dentist and patient can evaluate the fit and esthetics. A true shade evaluation is possible, as the colorless gel will not influence the shade of the restoration. Any remaining residual material on the restoration burns-out without contamination if a baking/firing procedure is required.

First Step develops a light adhesive bond permitting adjustments without dislodging the restoration or denture try-in and then is easily removed with just water.

First Step is supplied in a package containing, two 10-gram syringes with Teflon tips and a reusable plunger. The $ 49.00 assortment will accommodate hundreds of restorations.
