ADSTRA Systems has released Version 11 of its popular Practice Made Perfect® Patient Management Software Program. The new version includes a treatment planning section that displays all treatment plans for a particular patient. The treatment planning screen contains a Problem List, Diagnosis, and Treatment List. The program allows the clinician to view, manage, and document treatment plans easily.
The ADSTRA Practice Made Perfect® System Version 11 allows for the creation of treatment plans identified by patient, provider, creation date, and title. The Problem List component is a freehand text area in which the dentist or staff member can note findings while the exam is being conducted. The Diagnosis section is composed of a number of lines, each of which can contain one diagnosis. An appropriate diagnosis can be selected from the dropdown list on each line or entered by the user. Dropdown items may also be modified by the user as required for a particular treatment plan.
The treatment section allows for as many lines as are needed. Each line contains a sequence number (with “blank” being an option) that allows the user to automatically sort the tasks when displaying a treatment plan, a task description up to 254 characters in length (selected from a dropdown list or entered by the user); time required for completing the task (in minutes); task priority (1-Emergency, 2-Priority, 3-Elective); and the completed date and time, provider and user.
Treatment plans can be created by the provider or by any other user with the appropriate access rights; however, only the associated provider can sign (finalize) a treatment plan or can mark treatment tasks as completed.
