A dec and Miele Join Forces

Miele Dental Thermal Disinfector Now Available Through Authorized A-dec Dealers in the United States
Posted: October 3, 2005

A dec has joined forces with Miele, a leader in the development of washer-disinfectors for use in medical settings, to offer U.S. dentists one of the industry's finest solutions for cleaning and disinfecting dental instruments and accessories, the Miele G 7881 Dental Thermal Disinfector.

Integrating fully with A-dec's Preference ICC Sterilization Center and
complementing the A-dec Lisa Sterilizer, the Miele Thermal Disinfector allows the creation of a sterilization center specifically designed for effective and efficient instrument reprocessing.

The easy-to-use control system features separate wash, rinse, and drain
programs plus two high-temperature thermal disinfection cycles that provide exceptional cleaning with high level disinfection. The G 7881 eliminates the need for pre-soaking, hand scrubbing, rinsing and drying. The unit is also easy to load and its specially designed baskets and inserts hold a wide array of dental instruments and cassettes.

Just a few easy steps ensure maximum safety for both staff and patients
while streamlining instrument reprocessing. First, dirty instruments are loaded into the machine using either dental cassettes or mesh baskets. Simply pushing a button begins the automatic cycle. After the cycle, the instruments are clean, dry and ready for wrapping and sterilization.
