MaxAssist and Wisdom partner to combine practice productivity and billing services

MaxAssist and Wisdom announced a partnership that will give dental practices using the MaxAssist productivity platform access to Wisdom’s outsourced billing and revenue cycle services.

MaxAssist identifies missed opportunities within practice management systems, including unscheduled treatment, overdue hygiene, and last-minute schedule openings. Wisdom handles insurance verification, claims submission, patient billing, denials, and collections through U.S.-based billing specialists supported by AI tools.

Both companies were founded by dental industry professionals who saw inefficiencies in scheduling, follow-up, and billing inside practices, according to the companies. MaxAssist focuses on identifying actionable opportunities within charts, while Wisdom serves as an extension of the practice team for revenue cycle management.

“MaxAssist was built to solve a very specific problem: helping practices take action on the opportunities already inside their PM systems,” said Jeff Barsotti, CEO of MaxAssist.

As part of the partnership, MaxAssist customers will have access to preferred rates for Wisdom’s insurance verification and billing services.
