The Alumni Association of The nonprofit Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, in Key Biscayne, Florida, has announced creation of www.pankeydentist.org, a website where the public can search for Pankey Institute trained dentists across North America. Each participating dentist will have her or his own profile page providing contact information, the number of postgraduate credit hours earned at The Pankey Institute, and a brief description of the practice. Each profile page will be linked to the dentist’s proprietary website where the prospective patient can learn more about that practice. The website will provide information about Pankey Institute training and the model of comprehensive, relationship-based care taught at the Institute. Plans also are in place for this new website to become a repository of comprehensive oral health information for the public. The source of most articles will be the Institute’s Oral Health Report newsletter for patients of Pankey Institute trained dentists.
Many of the world’s best comprehensive esthetic dentists have trained at The Pankey Institute. Through www.pankeydentist.org, the Institute hopes Pankey training will become better known to the public, making it a sought after criterion when selecting a new dentist.
