SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (March 31, 2025)
— Spear Education, a leading provider of advanced dental education and practice management solutions, has announced a new partnership with Dental Intelligence, a leading provider of analytics and engagement software in the dental industry.

The partnership provides Dental Intelligence’s analytics software to anchor delivery of Spear Navigator, a team training program that helps dental teams identify, prioritize and address practice challenges. Dental Intelligence’s analytics tracking reveals how each practice is performing relative to benchmarks, while Spear provides the training to improve these metrics.

“Dental Intelligence puts Spear’s practices in a uniquely powerful position,” said Steve Jensen, VP of business development at Dental Intelligence. “We provide the insights, and Spear provides a ‘where the rubber meets the road’ approach. That means more dental practices will have clear targets and direct plans for real, meaningful, measurable growth.”

The collaboration between Dental Intelligence and Spear aims to leverage the strengths of both organizations to offer dental practices an unmatched combination of data-driven insights and practical, actionable strategies. By merging advanced analytics with hands-on training and team development, the partnership hopes that practices are equipped not only with the tools to identify areas for improvement, but also the resources to take meaningful action.

“Metrics alone don’t solve problems — they highlight them,” said Dan Butterman, chief dental officer at Spear Education. “By integrating Dental Intelligence's powerful metrics with Navigator's proven team training and education solutions, practices will now have unparalleled clarity into their overall performance. Navigator pinpoints specific challenges and provides strategies to address them, from implementing new skills learned in workshops to unifying team communication for greater patient case acceptance.”

“This collaboration with Dental Intelligence reflects our ongoing commitment to transforming dental care by equipping practices with solutions designed not just for short-term gains, but sustainable, long-term success,” said Matthew Coggin, chief executive officer at Spear Education. “By seamlessly integrating Dental Intelligence’s dynamic data analytics with Navigator’s proven implementation strategies, we're empowering dental teams to identify their greatest opportunities and take informed, impactful actions. We’re incredibly enthusiastic about the difference this will make for our customers and the industry as a whole.”
