The Clinical Notes feature for the Practice Made Perfect® Software Package from ADSTRA SYSTEMS, Inc. allows users to easily document observations, procedures, and diagnoses within the practice management software program. User-definable templates help minimize the amount of typing a dentist must do to create clinical notes and standardize the entries.
The Clinical Notes feature shows notes individually, as a summary, or in a continuous mode. A note can be created and then finalized by signing or confirming. Access to various functionalities depends upon the specific user's rights, which allows the clinician to control staff access and protect patient privacy. A Clinical Notes Summary Report shows the number of notes per provider as well as the split between finalized and non-finalized notes.
The Clinical Notes feature includes spell-checking capability for the user's language (the Practice Made Perfect program has a built-in multilingual capability that allows users to select English, Spanish, or French as the language of the interface), as well as for medical and dental terms. Editing tools include bold, italic, underline, font color, cut, copy, and paste. There is also a right-click menu for cut, copy, and paste.
