LSM Dental Equipment Company of Tualatin, Oregon, has acquired a majority interest in Tech West, Inc., manufacturers of dental vacuum and air systems. Tech West, headquartered in Fresno, California, manufactures vacuum systems, compressors, air dryers, water manifolds, and accessories. Art Blumenkron, President of LSM, will serve as CEO of Tech West and John Napier will remain with Tech West as General Manager and President.
The acquisition will allow lead times for Tech West products to shrink dramatically and lead to further development of new equipment. Skip Napier will remain as Technical Service Manager and Customer Service will continue to operate from Fresno, with manufacturing to continue at the Fresno plant for at least the next year.
