The Dry Model Trimmer allows technicians to trim models during their hardest state, producing precision models without water. This eliminates messy gypsum slurry, which can clog drains and sewer systems. Dry trimming also reduces process time by eliminating the re-wetting of gypsum models.
The Whip Mix Dry Model Trimmer is equipped with a two-position stainless steel work table, dust shield, two CleanCut Wheel Cleaners, and a 12" Blue Wonder Diamond Wheel. It features an easy-to-open, single-clasp door and has a convenient built-in shelf for lab case pans. The motor is enclosed and equipped with a special "trip-to-off" safety switch that shuts off the motor if the door is opened during operation or in the event of a power failure.
The Whip Mix Dry Model Trimmer is engineered for heavy-duty use and operates at a full 1800 RPM. At 3/4 HP, it provides extra power and cutting action. The Trimmer will withstand years of rigorous use. It has a 3-year warranty and is UL and CUL approved. It can be placed on any available surface because no water supply is needed.
