Carestream Dental recently announced Pinkesh Garg as the new managing director for the company's imaging technology solutions business in the Americas region. Garg—previously the general manager of the company’s Asia-Pacific region—will be responsible for the development and execution of Carestream's imaging equipment and software commercial operation and go-to-market strategies in North and South America.
Carestream has three unique product portfolios: Carestream Dental, Swissmeda and Sensei. With Garg leading the company’s “signature” brand, Carestream Dental’s digital imaging equipment and systems, customers should see innovations brought to market sooner and with greater efficiency.

In addition to being the general manager for the Asia Pacific region, Garg’s other previous roles at Carestream Dental include serving as the cluster manager for India. He has been with the company since April 2011. Before Carestream Dental, he served in other leadership roles at Tata Consultancy Services, where he provided professional services for various Fortune 500 companies. Garg earned his MBA from the IIM Calcutta.
