ALSIP, Ill.—GC America announces the appointment of Joe Talanges as the new President and Chief Operating Officer of GC America as of December 12, 2022, bringing his 30 years of med-tech and biopharma industry knowledge across multiple countries and continents to his new role. As President and COO of GC America, Talanges will be responsible for leading all operating, development and commercial functions and accelerating growth across the region and focus on key markets in The Americas including the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.

Talanges has significant experience transforming several businesses to accelerated growth and possesses considerable U.S. and global life science industry P&L experience, business strategy, sales and marketing leadership, innovation, mergers and acquisitions, and new product launches. His professional background includes senior leadership roles across The Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa with Abbott, Hospira, Pfizer and ConvaTec.
