IRVINE, Calif.—J. Morita USA has added two new blades to expand its Feather microsurgical blades product line.

Feather microsurgical blades are made of high-quality stainless steel with a two-step grinding process that produces ultra-sharp cutting edges. The round and tapered shape is specifically designed for dental surgery and offers easy handling. They are also ideal for microsurgery and use with a microscope.

The latest additions include blades No. 350 and No. 391. Sharpened on both sides, No. 350 offers a tapered shape and a blade width of 2.0 mm. Its small size allows a delicate incision in thin gingiva and an oblique incision in the interdental space during periodontal regeneration surgery. No. 391 is sharpened on one side with a blade width of 1.3 mm at the tip. Its short blade length allows a safe and accurate gingiva incision during envelope flap surgery.

Feather blades retain cutting efficiency and are appropriate for a wide variety of procedures for periodontal and regenerative surgery. All blades are gamma-sterilized and can be used immediately after opening the package. Multiple handle designs are also available.
