LANCASTER, Penn.—Septodont launched a new mobile app, Septodont Companion App, that became available on both Apple and Google Play Stores on February 10. The app aims to offer an upgraded experience of Septodont products and services through packaging recognition and augmented reality.
After downloading the app, the user is invited to scan a Septodont product box using the camera on their mobile device. The app recognizes the product by the packaging. Then, related information is pushed in augmented reality on the screen. Users can find how-to-use videos, clinical cases, testimonials from peers, and more. If they have any specific product or clinical questions, users can tap the email icon and contact the Septodont team.
