ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill.—“Evolving Technologies in Implant Dentistry” is the theme of the Academy of Osseointegration’s (AO) 35th annual meeting, to be held March 18–21, 2020 at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle.

Nearly 2,000 dental implant professionals from more than 50 countries are expected to attend this implant meeting led by some of the world’s most accomplished speakers in the field.

According to 2020 annual meeting program chair, AO Fellow Craig M. Misch, DDS, MDS, the 2020 annual meeting will share different methodologies, discuss technologies that are current, cutting edge and available that clinicians can incorporate into their practices right away.

“My goal will be for clinicians to walk away from the meeting with techniques and methodologies that may have been sitting on the sidelines and weren’t incorporated into their practices, but maybe now they’ll feel more comfortable using those after the meeting,” said Misch.

Highlights will include:

• Keynote speaker: Dr. Catherine Mohr, president of the Intuitive Foundation, pioneers of robotic-assisted surgery and the da Vinci surgical robot.
• Opening symposium: "Innovation and Technology" with Drs. Robert Guldberg, Christian Coachman, Marcus Abboud, and Frank Spear.
• Hands-on workshops: Work with the latest technology and receive first-hand experience from tDrs. Stephen Chu, Howard Gluckman, Alessandro Pozzi, and Tiziano Testori.
