Video Games Gone Dental

Dr. Tony Hawk’s Prophy’n Scaling
Exactly like Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, except he’s a dentist in this game and you’re allowed to ride a skateboard in the office without getting your license revoked like that one guy on the hoverboard.

Suture Mario Bros
You are a mouth plumber exploring the dental underworld for patients in need of oral surgery. Also, there’s a princess, but she keeps going to a different office.

Crown of Duty
Your character is airdropped into a dental war zone. The mission is to get to the town and liberate the inhabitants who desperately need crown and bridge work. Then get to the extraction point, where you will be doing … extractions!

Molar Kombat
Seven doctors travel to a mysterious island where they compete in lower molar restorations and become the ultimate referral for procedures nobody else wants to do.

Grand Cleft Autoclave
Enjoy this wildly specific role-playing game filled with fixing cleft palates and cleaning instruments.

Space Maintainers
Fight off five rows of 11 teeth that threaten to cause extreme crowding and malocclusion! (Also, you’re in a tank.)

League of Lesions
A massive multiplayer game where you team up with salty competitors and scream over one another as you fight a losing battle against evil lesions inside a giant mouth.

Plaque-Man
Play as a giant yellow chomping circle for some reason, and clear away plaque while avoiding staff members who chase you around the office maze with time-off requests.

This little blurb is called a ‘call to action.’
We use it to call you, dear reader, to action. So here it goes: If you want to see the rest of the Townie responses—and there are a lot of them—head to dentaltown.com/messageboard and search “Zombie Ideas.” (This was going to be the Dentally Incorrect for October’s issue—you know, Halloween and all— but, well, we forgot.)
