Dentist for Private Office in Tallahassee

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled dentist to join our client's reputable dental office. They are seeking a full time dentist, but part time would be considered as well.  

This is a state of the art office office with a wonderful staff of assistants, hygienists and front desk. It is also a FFS and PPO office, with no HMOs and no Medicaid. A full time dentist can expect to earn between 250K and 350K per year, depending on procedues they are proficient in.  Opportunity to earn equity as well. They office has lots of patients and many new ones each month.  Great collaboration available with the other dentist.  

General restorative procedures is all that is required.  If a dentist wants to do advanced procedures, that is great but not required. 

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
• Execute dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures with precision.
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Ensure infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques.

Skills

• Proficiency in using dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
• Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical terminology relevant to patient care.
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred; ability to work effectively with children.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices.
• Familiarity with medical imaging technologies used in diagnostics.
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in patient documentation and treatment planning.
