Welcome to episode 80 of The Dental Marketer Podcast! In this episode I have the wonderful privilege of speaking with The Inspired Dentist, Dr. Shakila Angadi and we really dive into the topic of Emotional Intelligence and how it plays a vital role in your life and in your dental practice. First we discuss how Dr. Angadi was a struggling dental practice owner who had to hit rock bottom in order to finally turn everything around and start becoming successful. Not only that, but she was also noticing how she was alone, she was so extremely frustrated and stressed out, hiring coaching and consultants constantly and spending money on so many ways to try and build her dental practice and reach to that point of what most of us call success. Did she ever get there?
We also discuss what is success. Is it having a million dollar or more practice, is it only being able to work two days out of the week, is it being the best dental practice in the community… what is the meaning of success to you? Dr. Angadi shares SO much knowledge with us on how we can implement more of our right side of the brain and what I love about this interview is she also breaks down a lot of the reasons why we do what we do due to our EQ. SO much of what we portray to the world, our team, our patients is due to our EQ.
