Description of Speaker:
Howard Farran DDS MBA MAGD is a noted international speaker on practice management. He graduated from UMKC dental school in 1987, earned MAGD in 1998 and MBA in 1999. Founder and publisher of Dentaltown, Orthotown Magazines and www.towniecentral.com. He has written/produced multiple dental articles and video series for practice management. Dr. Joe Steven Jr. graduated from Creighton Dental School in 1978 and has been in solo practice in Wichita, Kansas. He is also president of KISCO, a dental products marketing company, providing “new ideas for dentistry” to dental offices, and is the editor of the KISCO Perspective Newsletter. Garrett B. Gunderson is a financial advocate to dentists throughout the United States and Canada. He has built an INC 500 financial firm and is the author of the revolutionary financial book Killing Sacred Cows, a New York Times best seller. He saves doctors an average of $2,484 per month in cash flow and $11,700 annually in taxes. Fred Joyal revolutionized consumer marketing in 1986 with the founding of 1-800-DENTIST, the nation’s largest and most successful dental referral service. A respected leader in applying advanced marketing strategies and real-world advice, Joyal has helped thousands of dentists across the country maximize their practices’ potential. Dr. Mark Murphy is the lead faculty for Clinical Education at Microdental/DTI Dental Technologies, Inc. He also serves on the adjunct faculty at the University of Detroit Mercy and Michigan Schools of Dentistry and as a guest presenter at Mercer Advisors and the Pankey Institute, where he also serves on the board of directors. He practices general dentistry on a limited basis in Rochester, Michigan, and lectures internationally on leadership, practice management, communication, case acceptance, planning, occlusion and TMD. Dr. Mark Troilo graduated from Creighton Dental School in 1978 and practices dentistry in Rose Hill, Kansas. He is a member of the ADA and the Kansas Dental Association as well as a board member of the American Endodontic Society. He also operates a dental assistant training program in his office called Dental Careers Institute.
