This electronically delivered self-instructional program is designated for 1.5 hours of CE credit by Farran Media.
AGD Code: 615.
The fee to view this course is $36. This cost includes the fee to take the exam and claim your CE credits.
Dentaltown can now offer expert Cerec training by comprehensive online CE courses. Cerec users of all levels can improve their Cerec skills for only $36. Cerec Moderator and Advanced Trainer for Cerec, Dr. Mark McClure’s CE course covers the use of CEREC tools and the Biogeneric Copy method of crown fabrication to give the CEREC user a quick and easy way to have success with CEREC. Tutorials on imaging, the image catalogs, drawing margins, and utilization of the display options and tools are covered.
The first half of the course shows the most useful tools for modifying CEREC restorations such as how to draw and manipulate lines using the CEREC software and includes margins and CUT lines. The second half instructs in the very powerful Biogeneric Copy method for creating CEREC restorations. From the copying of a previous restoration in a patient’s mouth so that the new restoration “fits” the patient’s occlusal scheme exactly, to copying a restoration or tooth that is an abutment for a removable partial denture, to copying exactly a set of provisional restorations and turning them in to permanent restorations for esthetic or functional rehabilitation, Biogeneric Copy is the method of choice.
