Ivoclar Vivadent, Inc. has introduced a new hand-held, cordless, rechargeable dispenser for impression taking. With built-in speed and flow controls, the new dispenser allows dental professionals to configure the dispenser to meet their specific needs and to load heavy body tray materials at the push of a button, aiding in the elimination of hand fatigue.
The dispenser has been specifically designed for vinylpolysiloxane impression materials packaged in 50 ml cartridges with a 1:1 ratio mix.
The dispenser is part of Ivoclar Vivadent’s new line of impression materials – Virtual™ VPS Impression System that includes both fast and regular setting times, two viscosities of wash material (light body and extra-light body), a high viscosity tray material (heavy body), putty, and a monophase material.
