TAMPA, Fla.—Patient Prism has received its first U.S. utility patent covering features of the CallViz Analyzer, designed exclusively for dental offices. The CallViz Analyzer provides a visual representation of new patient calls that do not end in appointments, pinpointing call-handling concerns and providing call coaching to correct common mistakes.

Patient Prism is a dental office call-management software solution that incorporates artificial intelligence, machine learning, and call coaches to review every missed new patient opportunity and send an alert to the dental office within an hour of the original call.

“We detail the advertising channel that led to the new patient call, what the caller wanted, why the appointment was not booked, and recommended actions that can be implemented immediately to call back and convert the missed opportunity into a booked appointment,” said Patient Prism co-founder and CEO Amol Nirgudkar.

Patient Prism’s cloud-based software eliminates the need for dental professionals to listen to recorded calls to figure out what went wrong. The company has also filed for patent protection directed to aspects of the CallViz Cloud, a keyword cloud that aggregates the services spoken by callers so dentists can easily see what is leading potential patients to call their office. Dental practices can use this data to generate more effective digital ads, social media content, and website search engine optimization.

“It’s easy to spend a lot of money to make the phone ring,” said Nirgudkar. “Patient Prism enables dentists to know if their efforts lead to booked appointments.”
