ADA Health Policy Institute to Host Webinar on Gender Disparities in Medicine, Law, and Dentistry

CHICAGO—On Tuesday, March 28 from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. CDT, the American Dental Association (ADA) Health Policy Institute will hold a webinar entitled, “Why Do Men Earn More Than Women in Medicine, Law and Dentistry?”

During the webinar, hosted by Marko Vujicic, Ph.D., chief economist and vice president, ADA, a new study will be examined that compares the gender gap in earnings among professionals in the field of medicine, law and dentistry.
 
Industry-leading presenters and panelists will discuss how the disparity in earnings between men and women professionals is beginning to change, including:
                        
·         Tony LoSasso, Ph.D., professor, Division of Health Policy and Administration, School of Public Health, University of Illinois at Chicago;
 
·         Dr. Carol Gomez Summerhays, past president, American Dental Association;

·         Lisa Simpson, president and chief executive officer, AcademyHealth;
